This Ol' Trucking Patriot Needs Your Help Rebuilding A Ramp So His New Wheels Get Him Where He Needs To Go! Please Read My Dad's Story And Help Keep Him Home!

My Dad is a true Patriot who could use the help of a few good men and women. Over his life my dad helped provide aid to this country during many times of crisis; hauling and building baracades to protect homes and cities during the eruption of Mt. Saint Helen, helping to bring building materials and aid to those in need during Hurricane Andrew, and bringing excavation equipment and generators to Ground Zero during 9/11, also choosing to stay and help with rescue efforts for a week after. Due to having 4 brothers who all served this country in the US Military my dad gave back the only way he could by private contracting for the military and spending his golden years caring for my uncles; one who served in the Army Corp or Airmen in WWII and another who was in the South Pacific and suffered hearing loss and radiation poisoning during his time at Enewetak and Bikini Atoll. Having lost his wife, my mother, to a drunk driver, I spent years watching this man give his everything to others rarely asking for help. So today I am humbled to ask instead.

Years of caring for others and age have taken a toll on my dad. The house he built from scratch with his band of brothers has suffered storm damage and years of use have left the wheelchair ramp he built for his brothers unusable for himself. Last fall a storm caused damage to the roof of his home and due to him being in a flood zone getting assistance for a roof is hard to come by. We are looking for a little help making this happy home a place where my dad can live out the rest of his years finally getting to do what he loves, like hunting, bird watching, and spending time with his grandkids. He is 83 and still does so much for himself and others and we just want to see him get to enjoy what he worked so hard for and maintain his independence! We have the manpower to build it we are just fundraising for the material costs, and your kindness could help make this a reality.

Thank you for taking to read our story! God Bless You!
