I have two wonderful kids Skylar 2 years old and Linzy 5 years old. Linzy has a very rare form of dwarfism called Schimke Immuno-osseous dysplasia, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (fsgs), and autism spectrum disorder (asd) Schimke affects -
- Kidney function (Linzy has Kidney failure)
- heart (Linzy has a murmur)
- lungs (good)yay!
- bone marrow (Linzy has bone failure)
- immune system (Linzy has a VERY low immune system)
Linzy has kidney and bone marrow failure. They doctors plan to do a full body eradication which means she will need to go through both chemotherapy and radiation. This is planned to happen early Jan. The doctors warned that Linzy had an 85%chance of not making it their the whole procedure and that if she did they were going to go straight into a kidney transplant.
My wish from Linzy is to go to a place that has snow. Linzy has never seen snow. Linzy is not allowed to go into crowded public places due to her immune system. I think she would love the snow and seeing santa would just top it off. I want to do this before she goes into the hospital.
Whatever money that is received will go toward a trip to the snow and to help with expenses.
I also ask if you are willing to donate a kidney or bone marrow Linzy blood type is O+ please e-mail me at squishyhasfsgs@yahoo.com
