I had a stroke at the beginning of July. Medical bills and the added costs from new medications and doctors I now have to see are starting to close in and beat me. I need a little help to catch up and stay afloat.

Approaching one month since I had my stroke. I'm back to about 77-80% the person I was before. I'm thankful because it definitely could've been worse... I'm dual-minded about the American Healthcare system. The hospital (Medical City Arlington) really helped me out to find answers about why it happened and what to do going forward, they were amazing and I am forever grateful, but as that month-after milestone nears I am now being bombarded by the reality of my life going forward- the relentless collectors for the hospital bills and the immense costs of my new meds and doctors (on top of my very frugal usual costs of living) is literally drowning and crippling me. Don't ever get sick, my friends- and if you do, I suggest you don't do it in the USA, unless you are wealthy enough to weather the storms of the price and costs of the American Healthcare system... I've done something to try to help myself- please take a look and share to help spread the word:
