This next school year, I have been given two incredible, life-changing opportunities:
Sing in Europe with the Wartburg Choir, starting with a performance at the historic Wartburg Castle in Germany, connecting his school’s musical legacy with its European roots.
Perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City with Ritterchor, Wartburg’s select men’s choir.
These are once-in-a-lifetime chances to grow as a musician and connect with the world through the universal language of music—but the cost is a major hurdle. I work full-time at the local pool in the summers and have 3 work study jobs during the school year besides my classes. Although I got a scholarship for music it does not cover all of the costs of a small private college. However, I am receiving an amazing education and can't wait to become a teacher!
