"Guilt"- A Short Film

Within a short period of time in all of our lives we will experience things that will determine where our lives will go. Experiences that will change who you are. We will face great challenges and some of us will take a dark road in which we make grave mistakes. 

That is where this short film Guilt starts off. One mistake that can change someone forever. The thought of that mistake will haunt that person for the rest of their lives. 

But for how long will you let that mistake haunt you?

The Story

Jacob is at a place in his life, and his relationship, where he feels lost and is unsure of where to go next. He feels trapped in his long term relationship with Sarah, which prompts him to begin an affair with the daring and rebellious Brittany, whom he meets while on a date with Sarah. Through Jacob's perspective, we are taken on a journey with him as he reminisces and makes notes on the highs and lows of his relationship with Sarah and the one mistake that changed his life forever. This film follows someone who makes a choice and has to learn to either deal with the consequences or be consumed by his actions.

The Crew

Mitchel Worley, Director, Writer, Director of Photography

Mitchel is a cinematographer/photographer from South Florida, and a true visionary who works hard. After graduating from Cooper City High as the President of Cowboy Television (CTV), he has gone on to create music videos for independent artists, documentary-shorts, and has shot and worked for the Travel Channel, all while studying full-time for his Bachelor's degree in Photography at Barry University. Rachel Cylie Gross, Editor, Writer

Rachel is an editor from South Florida, but is currently residing in Orlando. Rachel was involved in Cowboy Television (CTV) at Cooper City High School as well, and she is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Film at the University of Central Florida. In her first year at UCF, Rachel has worked as an assistant director and editor on two UCF student films. Her specialties include rotoscoping and color correction on After Effects. 

Anastasia Pavlinskaya, Producer

Anastasia is currently studying Radio-Television Production at the University of Central Florida. After graduating high school as Vice President of Cowboy Television (CTV), Anastasia went on to work independently, while also spending time working under a mentor from HBO Latino.
