Many organizations and leaders in the Charlotte community have gathered with energy and compassion to host a rally and vigil on June 30th at First Ward Park at 6:30pm in response to the separation of families at the border.
The aim of this fundraiser is to cover the cost of a quality audio/visual system for the event so that speakers can share their stories with clarity and be easily heard by all attendees. Any funds raised beyond the costs of this system will be donated to the Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy, the only local nonprofit organization representing children in removal proceedings.
Thank you so much for your support!
