Funding Grad School

Greeting everyone! My name is Hillary and I am raising money to fund my first year as a Graduate out of state student at Morgan State University pursuing a Master's degree in Public Health. I was raised with the belief that my greatest asset will always be education. My academic journey is a story of hard work and determination to overcome many obstacles. Ralph Waldo Emmerson once said, “It is easy in the world to live after the world's opinion; it is easy in solitude to live after our own; but the great man is he who, in the midst of the world, keeps with perfect sweetness the independence of solitude." I had no idea that when this citation was first introduced in my first year of high school, it would later inspire a desire for tenacity that would last throughout my adolescence. My ambition in the field of public health is a result of my desire to fill the gap between clinical medicine and public health policy.  Figuring out how I would be able to afford tuition along with housing accommodations is highly contingent in me continuing my education. I haven't been considered for any funding opportunities , such as assistantships or fellowships,  from the Department. My commitment to excelling in this program is closely aligned with my desire to alleviate the burdens of covering the tuition, relocating/ and housing fees being that I am an out of state admit. I would greatly appreciate any source of help, I appreciate anyone taking time to read this .
