Trap, Neuter, Return is a nationally-accepted program in communities throughout the U.S., helping curb the population of feral cats who have been abandoned and multiply. Our all-volunteer program seeks to spay and neuter community cats in Casper to cut down on the number of litters produced and to offer winterized outdoor shelters for people caring for a colony of community cats. We also transport socialized community kittens into rescue, offering them the opportunity to find loving homes through rescue partners. Our program saves lives of community cats and kittens in Casper, including six kittens that recently went to rescues for possible adoption. Your donation to this quilt and other cozy items fundraiser helps save these lives!
The Casper Community TNR Program is a non-profit that works in conjunction with Temporary Home Animal Rescue, Inc. toward the goal of stabilizing the community/feral cat population in Casper, Wyoming. This is made possible through grant funding, donations, personal contributions, and the fabulous work done by our animal-loving volunteers. Our goal is to connect with like-minded cat lovers, local agencies, veterinarians, property/business owners and colony caretakers within the area to help provide education, assist with Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR), socialize/rehome feral kittens as available, assist with building cat shelters/feeding stations, and work at the local level to help change laws to protect community and feral cats.
