Hey Y'all! Welcome Back to Another Year of Spreading Love & Sharing Blessings! After the incredible success of last year’s fundraiser, I knew I had to do it again — and who knows, maybe this will become an annual tradition! I’m so excited to kick things off and invite you all to join me in making an impact this holiday season.
Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of working even more closely with Safe Horizon (Safehorizon.org), an organization that has completely captured my heart. When I first set out to find a nonprofit to support, I was looking for one that focused on helping survivors of domestic violence. What I found in Safe Horizon was so much more than that. They provide support, safety, and hope to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and homelessness. Their reach is far and wide, but their impact is deeply personal.
After seeing the incredible work they do, I wanted to be a part of it in a more meaningful way. That’s why I joined their Junior Board of Directors last winter. My main goal? To raise awareness and funds for this life-saving organization. But if you know me, you know I’m all about personal, hands-on experiences. I wanted to do more than just talk about it — I wanted to see it for myself.
This winter, I’ve had the honor of volunteering with Safe Horizon's Streetwork Program. I’ve spent time at their Harlem Drop-In Center, where homeless and street-involved youth can come for safety, support, and care. Seeing the impact of this program up close has been one of the most humbling and eye-opening experiences of my life.

These are things that many of us may take for granted, but for others, they can be absolutely life-saving.
Unfortunately, this year, the city has made significant budget cuts to Safe Horizon's funding. These cuts could directly impact the very services I just mentioned — services that people rely on for their survival. And it’s not just the clients who feel the impact. The strain on the dedicated teams who provide this support is enormous.
This is where we come in. This is where you come in.
I’m doing everything I can to raise awareness and funds for this amazing organization. But I can’t do it alone. Every donation counts, and together, we can help keep these critical services running.
