This is a dog-friendly run/walk!  Your four-legged friend is welcome to join the fun (one dog per person ~ friendly, leashed doggies only!)

About Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Why do we do what we do?  We do it for those with no voice.  We exist so that thousands of German Shepherds and Shepherd mixes will know love, warmth and family.  We invite you to join us in this race so that these dogs final memory won’t be the back room of a cold county shelter.   Without your support, we wouldn't be able to do what we do. Will you join our team? 

Our goal is to raise $10,000 through this event.  As a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, we wouldn't be able to exist without this support.  You can become part of the Coastal GSR team or create your own team (see right-hand column).  Many Coastal GSR supporters will be walking with adoptable dogs.  We'd love to see our you with our alumni dogs, too!

Every year Coastal German Shepherd Rescue Orange County rescues hundreds of dogs from high kill shelters all over Southern California.   We wish we could save them all from neglect, abuse, abandonment, starvation and just irresponsible ownership.  We know we can't save them all -- but we can save MORE dogs like these deserving pups with your help!  They don't deserve to die in shelters due to neglect, injury or illness.
