The Charlotte Master Chorale has long delighted Charlotte
audiences with engaging choral performances. Established in 1951 as the
Oratorio Singers of Charlotte, the Chorale has been a full-time member of the
Charlotte Symphony Orchestra since 1993 and was renamed the Charlotte Symphony
Chorus in 2015.
The Chorale has re-launched as an independent organization to
pursue the goal of providing more quality choral music for the Charlotte
region, including annual masterworks and choral chamber concerts. While
remaining the resident chorus of the Charlotte Symphony, the Chorale will be
independently contracted for each collaboration with the CSO, and thus will be
raising its own financial support.
As a patron of the arts in our community, we hope you will
consider supporting our efforts to illuminate, uplift, unify, and inspire
audiences across the Charlotte region through the power of choral music. We
cannot do it without you!
