More Info

The Student Advocates Office assists students in resolving problems and fostering skills so that they may maintain progress toward earning a degree. Staffed with dedicated volunteer student advocates, the mission of the office is to influence positively students’ academic experience as well as their life after IU.

This includes offering emergency financial assistance for IU students experiencing a financial challenge. For some students, a few hundred dollars can be the line between having to drop out and finishing their degree. We strive to save academic careers by helping them bridge the gap!

As a tireless advocate for providing emergency financial assistance to students in need, the dedication of emeritus director Beverly Warren helped shape the Student Advocates Office. Your support of the Beverly Warren Emergency Fund for Students allows us to continue the important work that she pioneered more than 26 years ago.
