The Boston Marathon was postponed, but our community is stronger than ever. Let’s finish the marathon this month in honor of our healthcare workers at Boston Medical Center — one step at a time. 1 step, $1 or more.

This Marathon Month, no one will cross the Boston Marathon finish line. Instead, our city’s doctors, nurses, and medical staff are on the front lines, fighting the unprecedented COVID-19 outbreak. Boston Medical Center’s unique position caring for our city’s most vulnerable residents has never been more critical, and they need your help to ensure the safety of their patients and staff.
The Boston Marathon isn’t just about the runners. It’s about the volunteers on the sidelines, the support from family and friends, and the entire community cheering them on. Right now, that community spirit matters more than ever. There are 55,374 steps in a marathon... so let’s all donate one dollar or more, take one step at home, and finish the marathon in honor of those fighting COVID-19!
Here's how you can help:
Step 1: Film yourself taking one step. And, feel free to acknowledge the healthcare workers or others on the front lines.
Step 2: Post your video on your social channels and encourage your friends and family to do the same. Be sure to name-drop at least 3 others in your video, and tag them in your post, along with a link to boston1step.com
Step 3: Visit boston1step.com to make your $1+ donation and continue to spread the word!
Together, we can all join the fight against COVID-19 — one step at a time.
