Dad has had an ongoing MRSA infection and lingering affects, and Mom, who has been helping him, broke her shoulder last week in a fall. She's got it immobilized, but it's extremely painful and she may need surgery that could be a long road to recovery.
We have contracted Visiting Angels, which specializes in helping people who need help around their home. Mom and Dad's helper will be little more than a housekeeper, but not a visiting nurse—and the organization looks to have one person, rather than rotating staff, assigned to their needs so they get the best care.
