Our grass roots, all volunteer effort was inspired by other cities starting in 2013 and every winter since have left scarves, hats, & gloves around the city in areas where people experiencing homelessness are often stuck out in the cold. We are happy to accept donations of fleece, yarn, finished products, & of course money to help us in our 4rd year. Volunteers and businesses have donated money, time, and materials to help make winter a little warmer around Jacksonville. For winter 2016-2017 we want to continue those efforts, and are looking for folks to donate to this year's event as well. We can use financial donations, volunteers to help make scarves from fleece & yarn, as well as folks to help distribute them into areas where folks are homeless. THANK YOU!
