Summit Speech School is New Jersey’s leading resource for giving the gift of speech to children who are deaf and hard of hearing. We teach our students to listen and talk without the use of sign language, using modern technology such as hearing aids, cochlear implants, and FM systems. Our goal is to help them succeed in mainstream schools and become active, contributing, independent members of society.

We work with children – and their families – from early infancy through highs school, with amazing results. The vast majority of our students are able to thrive in their local mainstream schools and later in college. Along with academic achievement, they go on to build successful careers, form relationships, start families, and take productive roles in their communities.
