Everyday in Jacksonville there are people who are hungry. I am creating this fundraiser to donate 100 Jars of Peanut Butter to the Bold City Church Outreach program.

With the savings on the peanut butter and the funds ABOVE the original goal, we are able to purchase and donate 30 jars jelly to go with the jars of peanut butter. All natural and in plastic jars. Many of the ones carrying food home are young - so the plastic jars means no one get hurt.
I recently had the privilege to meet folks in Jacksonville who are "DOING SOMETHING." One group of folks is the Outreach Team from Bold City Church. Along with Street Pastor & Light of the World Ministries, they are taking a message of love and compassion to the streets of our city.
At an event a few weeks back, I learned that they can get bread to help feed folks who are hungry, but they do not always have something to put on the bread.
At one apartment outreach, the children were simply happy to have some bread to eat. But some peanut butter would put a little more nutrition in their bellies.
I kind of take peanut butter for granted, don't you? It's simple, it's fairly inexpensive, and a little bit goes a long way.
What I hope to accomplish is to provide enough peanut butter to help the outreach ministry for a few months. They may use it in snacks for the children, or donate it directly to those who are hungry. Just know that people in need will be fed.

Tonight we went over to the local supermarket, who had Peter Pan peanut butter on sale. BOGO! Whee. That means that we can buy MORE! 132 Jars of Love righ there in my trunk.
